Lancashire Investors in Community and Community Foundation Lancashire are very happy to announce the appointment of our new Ambassador, Marc McLoughlin
We are excited to be welcoming Marc to join us alongside co-founder of Lancashire Investors in Community and Ambassador Edwin Booth CBE DL and LIiC Ambassador Ram Gupta BCAe.
In Marc’s own words….
“I have always been passionate about Lancashire, its people and businesses and have long held a desire to ‘get involved’ in something where I felt I could add some value and make a difference. As I began to learn more and CFL and the LIIC and I loved how the foundation is able to touch so many great causes across the county that might not otherwise be able to access finance or raise funds to help them operate – it means I don’t have the difficult decision to choose a single charity to support and having visited two CFL beneficiary charities in Blackpool recently I know I’ve made the right decision.
As a CFL/LIIC Ambassador I will be supporting Tim and the team to raise awareness about the awesome work they do and the amazing impact the grants and funding have for so many all around the county. Businesses can get involved for as little as £1000pa – it’s a brilliant thing to do and doesn’t cost the earth and it’s a chance to make a difference whilst being part of a network of likeminded businesspeople. I’m looking forward together with fellow Ambassadors, Ram and Edwin, and using my personal and business network to help promote CFL and the Lancashire Investors in Community – I can’t wait!”
Marc comes from a family of entrepreneurs and has a passion for helping local businesses flourish.
